On October 20th 1965 "Puppet On A String" entered the Hot 100 chart at number 14 and remained on the chart for ten weeks. Gold Standard Series.

This entered the UK chart on November 5th 1965 with the A-side as “Tell Me Why” (RCA 1489), it would reach the number 15 position on the chart after entering the chart on November 17th and would stay on the chart for 10 weeks.
