Although Blue Christmas never made Billboard’s Hot 100 chart, it did appeared on their special Christmas charts for 12 seasons between 1964 and 1985. It was re-released with another flip in 1965, with Santa Claus Is Back In Town and was available for a total of 20 years.

This was released in the UK in November 1964 (RCA 1430) it entered the chart on December 9th 1964 and peaked at
number 11.
