On March 13th 1971, both sides of this 45 were tied at number 33 on the Hot 100 charts and both remained on the charts for seven weeks.
"Where Did They Go, Lord" also appeared on the Country charts for eight weeks at number 55 when it entered on March 27th. RCA released this 45 on May 21st 1971 in the UK (RCA 2084), in the UK this single has the tracks reversed, it would go on and reach the number 9 position on the UK charts with a chart run of 11 weeks.
