Released November 1st 1956 this EP was Placed on Billboard’s Hot 100 singles charts at number 35 (Poor Boy), and number 9 on Billboard’s EP charts. This EP included all four songs from the soundtrack of Elvis’ first movie, “Love Me Tender”.

Some copies have the titles at the top of the front cover in black print on white background, while others have white print on black background. The later pressings from 1965 and 1968 don’t show the titles at all. Some rare copies were printed without the dog Nipper on the labels.

Released in the UK on the HMV label (7EG 8199) in February 1957, it did not enter the charts.
