Elvis' Golden Records was issued by RCA Victor, LPM 1707, in March 1958, it would reach the number 2 slot, It is a compilation of hit singles released in 1956 and 1957, and is widely believed to be the first greatest hits album in
​rock and roll history.

This LP was also released in the UK in October 1958 on RCA label (RCA RB 16069), it reached the number 2 position
on the charts.
